Winter vibes are in full swing!

We just couldn’t resist the charm of fresh snow today. We had snow much fun.

Today marks the beginning of Spring and the celebration of Lá Fhéile Bríde

Thank you to the children in the senior room for helping the Junior room make St. Brigid's Day crosses.

“The Great Cloonanaha Bake Off”

Over the last two weeks the Junior room focused in on procedural writing and in particular the Gingerbread men recipe. This activity was tremendous for reinforcing the children's maths skills in reading a scale and practising their measuring skills by weighing out the ingredients accurately as well as encouraging their fine motor skills handling different equipment. The children had their recipe at hand through the whole process. Procedural writing breaks down complex tasks into clear, manageable steps, making it easier for us to follow along. These were a big hit and they were absolutely delicious . The future of baking is bright in Cloonanaha

On Friday last we were joined by ISL teacher, Adrian Rynne, for a workshop in Sign Language for beginners.

We covered topics including the benefits of learning Sign Language, communication through sign and a taste of Sign Language in simple terms. Everyone really enjoyed it️️

Just finished a fun session working with clay!

Well done to all in the Senior Room. Can't wait to see how these pieces turn out!  #ClayArt #CreativeVibes
